Ever since the origin of the idea of sustainability, traced back to German mediaeval author Hans Carl von Carlowitz’s sustainable forest management concept, it has changed the notions of development radically-turning the views of production upside down – towards a noble path of optimism. Because sustainability is not compromising the present for the future; rather, it facilitates the present without compromising the future.
A sustainable approach is the name of empathy – toward the environment and the generations to come. In the finite realms of perishable resources, sustainability is the way to remain in the close vicinity of nature. In J’adoube, we believe it is possible to meet our needs without damaging the ecosystem so that humanity can continue to flourish, converging towards one lofty goal – to thrive and let others thrive.
WHY SUSTAINABILITY
We value sustainability for some underlying benefits that come along. Sustainability blends peace and prosperity as core benefits with hundreds of fringes. Our efforts toward a sustainable future combine three components of growth.

We believe true prosperity lies in the process, not the amount – a process that never dries down. Making a profit at the cost of anything is not the way to go; rather, we strive to achieve equilibrium of production and preservation to let the process sustain and bring lasting prosperity.
Sustainability is concerned with proper water usage, reducing carbon footprints, checking non-decomposable packaging and diminishing wasteful processes from the supply chain to bring natural integrity and serenity to the process.

Sustainability is the name of caring – for the mother earth and the future of humanity – a holistic approach, striding ahead and leaving none behind. While shaping the present, our vision also encompasses the future, not letting the course of prosperity ended.
We want to achieve both short-term and long-term benefits through advanced technology, research and non-toxic alternatives to the conventional mode of production. United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) revealed in a report published in 2018 that fashion production contributes to 10% of global carbon emissions. We aim to combat that issue as our environment-friendly fashion production focuses on the least amount of carbon emission.
J’adoube is aligned with the 3Rs of sustainability from its core – Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. Our sustainable products like offset, elastic, woven, PFL, drawstring, draw-cord, rib tape, injection moulding, and poly are manufactured through a delicately devised production process in our globally accredited laboratories to reduce production waste. The vegetable dye used in our natural fabrics – from meticulous laboratory research and rigorous refinery process – minimizes environmental impact.
Additionally, we are the largest user of recycled materials in the world. J’adoube possesses the world’s largest Waste Management System, enabling a smooth recycling process and making disposable solids environmentally safe. Effluent Treatment Plants rectify liquid that goes back to nature without damaging it.
